Honey and soya sauce salmon
Ingredients
Fish
• 500g salmon
• Salt and pepper to taste
• 1 tbsp. olive oil
Marinade
• 1 tbsp. olive oil
• 1 tbsp. soya sauce
• ½ tablespoon grated ginger
• 3 cloves of crushed garlic
• 1/4 cup of honey
Method:
• Mix all the marinade ingredients in a small bowl.
• Season the fish with some salt and pepper.
• Place the marinade into a sealable plastic bag and add the fish.
• Make sure the fish is well coated in the bag.
• Place in the fridge for at least half an hour. The more time the better.
• Fry the salmon and sauce in 1 tbsp. of olive oil.
• Don’t overcook the fish.
Serve:
• Serve immediately with some vegetables such as steamed beans, peas, corn and salad.
• Baby potatoes, homemade chips or potato wedges are also good accompaniments.
• Add a squeeze of lemon.
Tip:
• This recipe works well with chopped chicken breast, for family members who don’t eat fish.
